As many of you know, my camera joined me for a long walk off of a short pier. Well, I have been holding off on a new camera purchase because of some upgrades coming from Kodak on their cameras. My previous camera was an Easy Share DX6340 and the quality of the optics as well as the 4X optical zoom made it great for sports photography. Well, they one-upped that with the new DX6490 with the same great glass optics PLUS a 10X optical zoom! If all goes according to plan, I will test it this weekend at our team slalom practice and post a few photos from it here so you can see what it is capable of doing. Now if I can just keep the #$%^ thing out of the water!!!!!! :)
After this weekend, it is off to MN for the disabled nationals and I hope to bring back some great photos from those events!
