Beginner (W2W, Wake 180's, getting much better on switch and toeside), 21mph, 70', no extra ballast (except to clean the wake from side to side). XLV wake is plenty big and rampy with the ballast empty and only a driver.

I was riding at 80' for a couple weeks just to land wake 180's between the wakes and not case the landings. I need to get back to 60-65' for w2w 180. My friends have an '03 LSV which has almost the same wake as the newer Outback V. It's a big difference going from their boat to mine. Their wake is medium and not alot of pop. My wake is large with alot a smooth ramp to it. Big difference is the width of the wake so rope does play a factor

Here's mine

65'
21.5mph
can hs w2w and hs w2w 180
no ballast

if we're surfing, i'll drain the back bags and leave the center filled for a few days, it doesn't have much of difference

70-75', 23-24mph, advanced with some spins up to 540's and some basic inverts. somewhere around 3000lbs ballast does the trick
