Looking to put some bags in my 08 Outback DD. been looking around and wakemakers seems to have the best deals....my question is on brand...I can get 2 800lb straigtline bags/pump for about $310 but they are round bags so are they gonna move around on me when i use them for wakeboarding? Or i can do the fly high brand package 2 750lb bags/pump for $400 these are square bags. I've never had ballast bags before so i'm just looking for the right route to go....thanks for any suggestions

I've always used fly high and have had nothing but good experience with them. Also made all my purchases from wakemakers and they have great customer service. Heard a lot of good things about Mike's liquid audio for ballast as well on here so compare the two

Some guys on here are using.the straight lines. Said they're easier to fold up and store when not it use and just as tough. Hope that helps

I have run Flyhighs for 3 years and this year switched to Straight Line Sumo.

Major differences Fly High is a bit thicker material. Both are heat sealed seems, both ahve 3/4 or 1 inch fittings.
Sump has a bilt in Vent on the top of each bag.
Sumo does make square and round bags, you just need to look at the different sizes.

Honeslty i dont see that much difference in brand vs brand with them, but at the end of the day if you want to remove the bags, clean and fold them up to save spave for any reason, i prefer the Sumo as they fold much easier.

The ones i have are flat like the Flyhigh, i have no experience with the round from Sumo. The 400s that came factory in my boat were round and they didnt roll around. I had them in the V drives.

Round bags are only round when completly full, others wise they just flaten out till they meet a wall and start going up instead of out. That make any sense

They form to their surroundings until almost full ;)
