Cool Avator! How do you like your bimini? Is that what you call it or do you say the same as for a jeep that as a bikini bimini top? Do you get torrential downpours for 30 minutes and then turns off 100+ immediately afterwards!/!?!?! ahhhh, sauna! And CANĒT BREATH!!!! I have been soaked so many times with my bimini trying to put towels and vests and ice coolers up there trying to block the horizontal rain!!!!!!! I even ruined an amp that got flooded from the rain! The bilge couldn't keep up.

Bimini is great, No head shots anymore!! I use my bimini to shade me from the sun! Rain? You sound like you should live here in Oregon.
Its O.K. To GUTTER up now and then, It keeps the world turn'n

04-02-2008, 11:25 PM

That was the inspiration for ours. I heard it was down at active today getting some tunes!

WERE HAVING SOME ISSUES WITH THE BIMINI, IT DOESNOT FOLD UP WITHOUT UNHOOKING IT, ALSO IT COLLAPSED FORWARD BENDING THE ALUMINUM ROD,,,, 25 MPH. WERE LOOKING INTO A Z-CARGO.
04-03-2008, 03:28 PM
David that sucks, you had to drive the boat all the back to AWS already? I hope you get it worked out. I am taking the boat out tommarow for some more break in time, what do you think is a good amount of hours before I start pulling?
04-03-2008, 09:03 PM
That sucks about your bimini!
We were supposed to get a full bimini for our new XLV, but when we picked it up it had the Z-Cargo top. We decided to try it to see if we liked it. It is really growing on us! We like the sun, and initially wanted something that would fold up, but this thing is really cool. You donít have to worry about folding it up after you get off the lake and visa-versa. The best thing is that there arenít any spiders and spider webs all up in there like our old bimini when we would unfold it! It would take me 30 minutes vacuuming up all those things before the women and kids would get in the boat! Also, you can store a house up on top there!
Good luck with your decision!

Hey Bam/Membrain---- I have yet to take it back to AWS but I did e-mail Gerry and waiting for responce. As for the hours Bam I put about 8-10 hours on our 06 before we got more agressive with it, you should be ok around that area. Can't wait for summer!!! 60 degrees one day--Snow the next ?
