Does everyone know what these terms mean and how to determine which you are?

For surfing....

Regular - left foot forward and right hip is perpendicular to wave

Goofy Footed - right foot forward and left hip perpendicular to wave.

Goofy footers surfing on the regular side is known as riding "backside".

How to determine which you are?

go up behind someone and give them a little unexpected shove.

Notice which foot naturally steps out first. If left foot steps out, your regular. If right foot steps out your goofy.

I'm extremely goofy.

Ed,

My favorite that i tell new people is to put on socks and slide across the kitchen (any vinyl) floor. Everyone will have a dominate foot that comes forward. My other suggestion is to just get on the board and ride both ways and in the end you will be "sweet" because you can ride regular or goofy.

ajmoritz,
I ride at Alum Creek during the weekdays (i am in sales so this works great) and then on the weekends at Griggs Resevoir. This summer i am going to make more trips down to Norris Lake.

Smrtz, its a goofy life.

Ever notice that DD boats are built for goofy footers but the majority of people are regular (the ballast can go behind the driver's seat)?

Everyone I ride with is regular.

So, in order to make them all happy, the boat is set up for regular and I surf backside.

This means the ballast bag takes up all the room in the durn DD boat.

wonder if Jesse C can come up with a pictorial fix for moving the steering wheel and driver's seat to the port side?

Goofy rules. I've even got a friend that all signs point to normal but that fool still rides goofy!

I think he is just copying me :-)

Plus every time you show someone some video, their first comment is - "nice, you pulled that switch?!?"

Hey Ed maybe a center console Moomba would fix the problem once and for all!!
Hmmmmm

Well, unfortunatly I have an LSV and would need your boat to create instructional, so this is what we can do. Trailer the boat to birmingham and we can attempt this in my shop. We will need a few things though. Gather all of the items below and head North.

1 Digital Camera
2-3 Cases of beer (depending on project difficulty)
1 sawzall
4-5 sawzall blades depending on the ratio of beers consumed versus bent blades!
1 5 gallon bucket of fiberglass resin
1 Pulley to reverse the the throttle lever
20-30 hot wings
1 Cordless Drill
1/2 inch drill bits to redrill seat bolt holes
1 seamstress (preferably hot) to restitch cushions for starboard side conversion
30 feet of 18 gauge wire to move radio to starboard side

All in all it should only take us about 8 hours.

Jesse, that is just ridiculous.

20-30 wings for both of us?

When I go to "all you can eat wing night" I can eat 45 of them tasty buggers myself.

When I make 'em at home (once a week) I cook two 5lb bags. Nothing wrong with wing leftovers. They seem to get better when reheated in a microwave.

I be a wing junkie

Sorry Ed I did not mean to insult you, I did not realize that you were such a wing conesour. How about this as a revision:

1 - "Orange" wing waitress with her weight in hot wings????

Right on jmvotto.

although over the years I have found some modifications to the recipe that I like:

I add a bit of vinegar to the butter and hot sauce

I prefer to deep fry using peanut oil.

I use my turkey fryer, that way I can do 5lbs of wings at once.
