gotta do better than that Stacey :D !

After seeing this board, It's going to stay in Orlando.

Word on the Orlando Jamboree is:

1.) we have plenty of time to plan one.

2.) we have plenty of time to plan one.

3.) pray for rain.

This board was delivered to me on Friday.

Mike Walker (Thewalkerproject) did the custom artwork on one of his 5.0 CompX boards.

The top has a clear textured surface so you don't need to wax the board or have grip pads covering up the artwork.

if you want camping, go to Cumberland Island National Seashore.

First border island in Georgia, about 30 miles north of Jax.

No cars allowed on the island and they limit the number of people allowed per day. You get on the island by a 45 minute ferry ride.

They have a family campground with showers and bathrooms and a very short walk to the beach.

if your primitive camping, You can go for three days and never see another person.

You have to hike a minimum of three miles to your campsite and carry everything you need on your backs. No places to buy supplies on the island. Dig your own bathroom hole.

The farthest camp site is 11 miles where you can camp right along the Christmas River.

It's a great place. Its about 26 miles long and three miles wide.

I have my own network of trails that can only be traveled at night.

Ed, that sounds good but for me i cant do the hiking style camping-my legs and knees are shot-if i cant back the truck up to the site and unload i just cant do it-went kneeboarding 2 weekends ago and it took about 4 days for my knees to loosen back up----totaly sucks but it was fun when i was out.

Ed, I was in at my dealer the other day and he has started to carry the Walker baords. Very very nice. No custom paint and a $500.00 tab. funny how that makes me wince, yet I'll drop a grand this summer on a new ski. I guess it's the great unkown.

But I have to tell you that while I've done some boarding, I am soooo pumped to start the surfing this summer. It just seems like it is going to be the way to go for this old fart! And with the wife spraining her back last fall skiing this might be the only way to get her in the water this summer. Just sucks when we start something new together and she is better than me after a few weeks

My wife is better than me at everything...even before she tries it.

You'll absolutely love how easy wakesurfing is on the body compared to skiing, wakeboarding and especially knee boarding.

Until you get the hang of weight balance on the board, your front calf muscle will get a little sore, but that's about it.

It doesn't hurt at all when you fall at 9 MPH :D
