I just purchased a Liquid Force Custom 4'10", my first Surf. I rode it today for the first time and I have three little dimples, the size of quarters, that have formed on the bottom. Anyone have a simular problem with their Surfs?...

Those sound like pressure dings which are common on a glass/foam or epoxy/foam board. They won't hurt a thing, just not as pretty now.

I got a new LF Venture in Oct and noticed one of those myself...

Thanks!... That makes me feel better. I was freaken thinking I just spent this money and got taken on the board I purchased. I have always been a Hyperlite fan since 1996 but I just saw this board and fell in love. Like I said, this is my first surf and so far I am loving it! Boarding and Skating are my passion but I think the Surf will be just the ticket when it gets choppy. Now it is all about tring to find the right weight for the boat.

"Surfs" is just short for Wake Surfboards.

oh... "surfs" must be Wisconsin logo. Never heard that before.

I thought you were talking about some kind of weird underwear.

Bit of history and meaningless trivia:

"log" or "stick" is the slang for a surfboard...That's why the God Father of wakesurfing, Jerry Price, named his company : "Shred Stixx".

Anyone attending the Tampa and/or Orlando Owners Reunions can demo a Shred Stixx Piranha, stick.

Lac La Bell, Long Lake, Silver Lake. Started the third week of April. It hasn't been to bad with a wet suit.
