Water Pump Question

I was getting ready for this year and found out my water pump on my 00 outback is shot. I was wondering if this is a common thing and where should i get my next one. Factory or is there a better aftermarket? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the pump or the impeller. If you want to change the impeller you can find out all you need to know by running a search using the term "impeller". If it's worse than that, contact skidim and they can help you out:
