Transmission Fluid Change

Am running a 310 carb with ZF 45-C 1:1 transmission. What is the easiest procedure for changing to fluid and cleaning the filter? It is a very tight fit under that tranny.

if so, you simply suck out the fluid from the opening in the top of the tranny case and there is no tranny filter.

If it's not the same tranny as in my 2003 Outback, ignore what I just wrote.
