Float Party

You know the saying - "third times a charm".

I'm gonna throw this question out there for a for a third and final time.

In my quest to get an answer, So far I've heard:

1. I need to contact a dealer

2. I'm prejudiced in my thinking about the northwest way of life


Ok fine. Both are interesting answers and I value each one of them.

But, can someone PLEASE tell me -

What the hell is a float party????

Well I'll give it a try. Around here it is a flotila of party barges or pontoon boats tied together and anchored in some quite bay where an on water house party goes on. People move back and forth through the assorted pontoons and visit, drink, possible flirt, and sometimes get wet. People with ski boats are encouraged to tie up as well so that they can give tireless lessons to really overweight drunk guys trying to remember the old days when they used to ski all the time, or so they say. For some reason the hot chicks avoid the ski lessons and no one ever has any idea how much gas cost these days.

Sled pretty close but float parties probably vary by goegraphic location.
Up here everyone plans ahead to meet and ride and all get together. After the sun starts to get low in the sky we tie up either anchored and floating or next to a beach. Everyone walks boat to boat and lies about the tricks they pulled off, or shows off their stereo and latest add-on until the sun goes down or we run out of beverages. Lenghts of floats, boats, participants, times etc vary.
