That is a great b-day present! I think that Sled is looking into one too. But he decided on the Nikon D40, I think. I shake a lot and the D60 has Vibration Reduction. I thought it may come in handy.

Misc pup stuff, 1st day on a board of any type, using training skiis and a tube. :D One of the ten your old twins and our 8 yr. old and friends hanging off the swin deck swimming last week on vacation.8-)

This is a pic of my 6 year old perfecting his cannon ball, just having a ball at the lake. His sister behind is featured in another thread under skiing and slalom. The future rock star Lexi is seen in the second pic playing air guitar and giving attitude to "Kid Rocks" lastest hit "All Summer Long". I'm in soooo much trouble in about 10 yrs!

Cute shots of the little ones!!!! I also like the idea of that trash can there under your dash. When your little ones get to be a little older like mine you realize that they think the trash can is the floor. I really liked that idea and am going to copy it!

Z walmart sells a colapsible one for like 2 or 3 bucks. I love it as it can be folded up and holds plenty when open.

Went for a water ski May 19, one week after the ice went out (which is unusually late).
My dock start attempt failed. It was a long time waiting for that boat to bring me the rope!

Sled, you guys must have some fun..boating, snowmobiling and four wheeling!

Mrs Daze, we keep busy that's for sure. This will be our 1st winter in a long time that we won't be racing snowmobiles. But we'll have plenty of fun trail riding.

You know the one big reason we haven't moved south is the kids. When we asked them about moving they were all for it. Then we explained "no more snow" and they shut the idea down. What can I say?

Sled, dont blame the kids, i told my wife if we ever move home(Washington state) that we would have to get some snowmobiles. But the fact that you guys are putting the boats away for the year or putting on drysuites and i can still jump in the water with just my swim trunks on is making it worthit to stay.

Well I feel like we are piling up on Sled here!
That is why I refuse to mention anything to do with Scuba Diving as I know he loves that too and if we were to mention to him that the water in the Gulf of Mexico is actually warmer right now than the fresh water around here that might take him over the edge!!!! Or that his his kids could swap from snowmobiles to jet skis they would have plenty of hills to climb out on the beach (of course we call those waves). Our finally, that since we have all gotten to know him and his family so well that we know they would fit right in with the rest of the Florida group, and our kids too. But no I won't bring any of this up!!!!

Well hello to Eliza! Hows the weather by you? Do anything interesting today? How's school. Lexi and the boys got there report cards today.

Has anyone here noticed that sled has a hard time sitting still EVER!! And that he does just about everything to the extreme. There is only ONE pic of him lying down on the boat. I don't think he could handle not having the seasons change to be honest. He likes change quite a bit. Oh, I turned the heat on in the house today. Already too cold. This morning was in the 40's and kids had to pull out the winter jackets to go to school. Was not happy getting out of bed. Oh and I forgot to set the darn timer on for the coffee.

I wouldn't say there is not a seasonal change here. But I would say it is more like 3/4's of the year it is pretty warm and you can always go outside without a coat or jacket. Believe it or not because we live on the coast it doesn't get as hot here in the middle of the summer as it does in Atlanta due to the ocean breezes. Then for 2 to 3 months it gets cold (on average in Panama City we have 12 nights below freezing, not days, nights). During this time I am usually doing some sort of repair work on the house or yard. Then the rest of the year we are doing something on the water, which can be paddling our kayaks (cool weather sport) or fishing or skiing. We just have a much longer warm season. We will now go a couple of months without the AC running much but the heater probably won't get turned on until late Nov. early Dec. And believe me I hate cold so it will get turned on quickly! If you love to do things on the water (fishing, paddling, skiing), you can pretty much do it here almost all year, that is what makes Florida so great. Oh and the fact that there is water everywhere, springs, lakes, rivers, gulfs, oceans. More boats here than anywhere so prices are cheaper. OK I WILL STOP NOW!

Lewis - high school sophomore, powerhouse swimmer, and no license -- yet

Okay, so they are a little bit older than the other pups on this site. But they are my pups and I love 'em.

I really shouldn't complain, I've been in Phoenix for months now and still have at least on month left. I was over 100 3 days this week. It'll be my wife who gets the surprise as she's flying to Gemany next month to visit a friend and I think it will be a bit cooler than she's expecting.
