I also installed the same Humminbird in my 2010 OBV. Used the thru hull puck with good results. Mine is mounted on the driver's side directly across from the speedometer wheel. That put it in front...

Re: screw lengths?
Also make sure that the center of the rivet doesn't pull all the way through. You will have a little hole to deal with.

Re: Cleaning threads of block drain ports and transmissions drain plugs
Run a tapered pipe tap in the hole. Do not cut the treads deeper, just clean them. Next fall, coat the threads with grease or vasoline to keep the rust off.

My son and I ski at about 32mph. Wake isn't to bad. Never skied behind an Outback. I just figured it was a lot better since it was a ski boat. I have skied all my life behind outboards. Just...

Have you skied behind a 2009+ OBV yet? I think the wake is larger than the standard Outback. Any thoughts or ideas on making the wake smaller besides using the wakeplate. I thought I read somewhere...

Outback V GI to GIII Ballast Upgrade
Over the winter I added two thru hulls, five Tsunami 800 pumps and a pair of 750's from Wakemakers to the rear of my OBV. I removed the stock Rule pump, solenoid, and strainer. I cut the scooper off...

Re: rev10's on a 2012 mojo
You could always make some cardboard circles or tubes that are the size of the rev 10's. Tape them to different parts of the tower to see how they look.
