    Mud Flaps

I use rock tamers to protect the boat, as I drive a minimum of an hour to the closest lake and we have lots of roads with debris. I do have some sign of rock chips from before the tamers and I think...

    Acme 1847 prop

I would want to know what boat this complainer is using. I'm no expert on boat hulls, but the hull/ prop relationship is key. I would put most credence in others experience who have the same hull as...

Brand new swivel racks for sale

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to pass. I did some research on those Yamaha racks and found that they are designed to use rubber gaskets. I don't think they will work well with the 2 3/8"...

Brand new swivel racks for sale

I guess my concern would be how tight you have to get it/ turn it to, so that you don't have to worry about it moving while under way? The last thing I need is one more thing to check and make sure...

Brand new swivel racks for sale

How does the handle mechanism work? Is it a 'detent' type application that has certain points that it can lock in at or is it a pressure apple thin that you need to tighten and loosen the handle to...

Brand new swivel racks for sale

I might be interested in the 2 3/8" one. Can you post or pm me pictures of the clamp with the tape measure perfectly measuring the diameter (I have been burned by incorrect measurements for tower...

    Wakesurf Rope

I'm with Wolfe. While I understand your safety concerns, I have never had an issue come up as a result of having the small handle. Not saying it couldn't happen, of course. We always make sure to...
  13. The decline of a board sport - maybe a lesson to be learned?

I read that outside magazine article and found myself doubting the 'facts'. Interestingly, there are some links within that article (and right after it) that point to another article that completely...
  14. What's The Furthest You've Towed or Would Tow

This is the case in this whole area. I live four hours drive from bullfrog/ halls crossing end of Powell and diesel is over $4/ gallon from my local station all the way there. It sucks to say it but...

Yes, I agree with you there. I avoid doing that at all costs. It takes a bit of time.

Went ALL IN for the summer

It's not hard to get on and off at all. It CAN get heavy if you leave boards on it, so pull those off first. Once you get used to it/ get your procedure dialed, it's super easy and quick.,,.

Buying 2008 LSV w/ Hull Repair

I drop the z5 into the cabin of the boat. I think I have pictures in a thread, if you search my previous posts.
  20. seadeck in a Mojo, and tower bimini too--

I like that tower a lot more than the others, especially with the Bimini setup. The whole combo is a nice package.
  21. Creative minds and old trick release needed

I have no helpful info for you at all, sorry.

I do want to say how awesome it is that you encourage your daughter to continue to try things, despite some obvious setbacks. I wish you good luck in...
  22. Poll: Your Projected First Day On the Water in 2014 (Newty Disqualified)?????

We seldom get out before the end of may, so i'm sure it will be the same this year. We do have a Powell trip booked for the first week of June, so I will want to get the lsv out at least once prior...
  23. What's The Furthest You've Towed or Would Tow

I go to Powell 3-4 times every summer. I would pull your boat, no question. The rental boats are Baja pos's and are not nice at all. Coming from my LSV, I would be sooooo disappointed with those...
  24. Moomba Flow The new Wake Enhancement Device

This is exactly what I am thinking. I love the idea of the simplicity of it and would love it on my boat, however I would pay more for the 'automated' version, if that ever became available, simply...
