I'm going to try to save some money by polishing & waxing my '07 XLV this year. I have some light scratches I need to buff out, etc.

any recommendations on good brands to use?

Good to know - $150 for the 2008 Slingshot D2's looked a little too good to be true.

I'm narrowing the search - probably down to Ronix Kai 2010, Company Pro 2010, and one or two others.

Anyone have opinions on CWB Answer 2010 or Slingshot D2 2008?

what do you think about Liquid Force Watson's? I have a friend that has the 2007 boots, and they were pretty comfortable, but I have nothing to compare them to.

I need to get some closed-toe boots for boarding, but I don't want to spend $300-$400. Anyone have any ideas? I ride a Liquid Force Axis 139 - sort of a beginner, but I'm getting there.

I bought a 2007 XLV in February - the previous owner bought it new for $54,000. I paid $35K - essentially paid off his loan. I love the size, but wanted a 23' boat after riding in my friends...

When I bought my 07 XLV, the previous owner threw in an extra storage cover that he had. It's a Rankin cover, and it's made for a Supra, although it fits my Moomba, obviously.

I have an XLV, and my 20 pound anchor isn't cutting it. Even when I'm on a lake, the waves will push my boat around.

What does everyone use for their XLV's? I was thinking about buying a 40 lb....

Where do you stay when you go up there? I've heard its a great lake for water sports.
