JV, I went from an 06 OutbackV to a 10 LSV. Reading the size difference on paper does no justice for how much bigger everything seems on the LSV - seating, storage, wake, etc.

If you mean "where", start in the main engine compartment at the oil filter and go low, towards the V Drive unit. You should find a red plastic handle, maybe inch to inch and a half wide - kinda...

Check down under your oil filter - my 06 Outback V was located there.

In my experience, she won't crank when Vapor Lock occurred. Or she will crank and sound REALLY rough. If yours is running, I'd think it might be something other than vapor lock. I'm not exactly sure...
