No dual battery. Yes to battery switch (on-off), and onboard charger. I have never, knock on wood, had a dead battery while on the water.

Not really. I wasn't very comfortable switching boats with my camera, and really didn't have the right lens for close quarters. If I dropped my camera on the water I would cry...seriously.

I just switched from an 08 XLV to a 13 LSV and I couldn't be happier. As far as the wake, the surf wake is much nicer than the XLV. The wakeboard wake is still a tad more sensitive to weight shifts...

When you turn the key "on" does the check engine light come on? Not starting the boat, just turning the key on? With the key on move the throttle stick. Does the butterfly valve move also?

I agree completely about the skill. I am coming from an 08 XLV GG and found the surf wake to be a huge bonus when I switched to the LSV. I pulled people who have been surfing for years with the XLV...

So it is confirmed... Stock ballast makes a surfable wake. I also had two adults on the surf side, but it was nice.

Got to see mine today, and should have it on the lake Saturday. I have a buyer picking up my 2008 XLV GG from me on Friday. I won't even be one day without a boat.:)
