Re: Cutout under driver's seat? 2008 XLV

I have one under the seat blowing on my feet and a second bent blowing out to the side. The louver part will brake off or come off from your feet kicking it. I just removed it..

Re: So how may hours this season?

We have a short season and after 170 hours I'm glad winter is here, my body needs a rest. The last few weekends were pretty hard. We tend to push hard and fast to get in as much as possible..

    Re: New Evolution boat cover

Get a snap on cover, on and off within minutes and anyone can put it on/off without any instruction. Or at least showing them where the first snap is.. :D

Yes, you get some air, I think you really need to plow thru it instead of over it, I haven't slalomed behind my LSV but others have. Here's one, running around 34-36mph, yes the water is really...

Re: Another snap on cover question

Don't put the tarp on the cover, put it over the tower. It creates a tent keeping everything off the real cover.. :)

Re: Another snap on cover question

Raise the nose and drain the water, you should protect the cover with a tarp or fix the pooling. Once you fix the leakage it'll dry out, no sense in trying to dry it out...

Re: Now that's a scum line

The acid does the work, just spray it on. I have the marina do it so they can lift the boat off the trailer and get everything. You may need to let it soak a minute or two longer in the spring. At...

Re: Now that's a scum line

I hit it with the power washers at the car wash to remove the meaty parts. In the spring I'll have the marina acid wash it. Probably have them wash and wax it to..

    Re: HELP! Moomba not starting!?!?

Did you test the pump? Connect 12v+ to the terminal on the pump and see if it works. I run a wire from the large red wire on the starter to the pump.

    Re: HELP! Moomba not starting!?!?

Carbed? There's a large screw, one on each fuel chamber, those are the large rectangle areas on the front and back off the carb, unscrew one and see if fuel comes out..
