We weren't able to come up with anything either- we actually modified the boom piece/adaptor that connects to the pylon so that the trick release connects to it instead of directly to the pylon. But...

Alright so I finally got to the boat and got it...
Alright so I finally got to the boat and got it measured- in case anyone needs it the lower pylon is about 2 1/2", and the tower pylon is smaller- just over 2", about 2 1/8".
