    I agree with you. UV could be the X factor. My boat is covered when not on the water or immediately after to dry for a day. So it will have some protection from UV. Miners moss is used outside...

    I know snaps can be placed in deckadence but not sure about the miners moss. I plan to allow it to just sit on the floor. I believe it will stay in place since it is wall to wall in the boat.

    I glued the inside edges together, let it dry, and then put some more glue on the bottom seam.
