City or Grapevine reports several ramps still open on the south side of the lake as of today, might consider that option also, as it is minutes from me, and I know the lake well... Easy enough to...
Made it there late last Saturday, and it appears that that the word is already out...
Hope this is posted in the best place.
Headed to Lake Ray Roberts tomorrow to check it out. Never been there before. Anyone familiar with it?
(Access at Lake Grapevine is very limited to non...
Not likely. I partied like a rockstar on that lake years ago in my fast boat days. At my age, and after years of the Devil's Cove at Lake Travis, I'm kinda over that whole scene. I am glad you...
Silver lake was open last weekend but that ramp is the worst in the metroplex, half was open, and it is a wreck. (Kept my boat there until a few months ago.). Will be trying Katie's woods today.
That ramp still open?
I would have figured Dove Lane would be closed also.
How about Katie's Woods?
Free ramp on north side of lake is closed, and Twin Coves ramp should be... :(
I thought it looked to good to be true.
It seems that she works a lot of places.

Thanks again to:
mmandley, jstenger, and wolfeman131.
Tried it out on Saturday.
Also had (3) adults and (4) kids in the boat.
All the kids in the nose, and (2) adults starboard, (1) adult...
Was there on Saturday.
The deep water felt quite a bit cooler than that, but still warm enough to be a disappointment.
Seems to have dropped another few feet rather quickly also.

Thanks mmandley the video was cool!

All good information.

So as a starting point I should:
Fill my stock center 400lb. bag.
Throw a full 750lb. in the starboard side rear locker.
Start at 10.5 to 10.8 mph using a small amount of wake plate to extend...

Understood. No where near factory. Should have guessed.
But I must qualify, I am looking for a good clean wave, not necessarily "hard core".
I am also guessing adding a "factory style" 400lb...

I got questions, and I know this place has answers...
(My 2010 OBV has the Gravity I ballast system for starters.)
This photo from the "Moomba" flicker page shows a 2013 Outback V with a wave...
Nevermind. Spoke with Wakemakers, got it handled...
About to order a pair of 400lb bags to upgrade my gravity one ballast for surfing.
(2010 Outback V)
Would it be possible to get the discount code?
Having spent time in Houston on numerous business trips, I would politely disagree.
Flower Mound/Grapevine area.
The day I brought it home, and my only photo at this time...
