Benson - Door-to-door drive time would be 3 hours 14 minutes. I'd probably take the route that goes through Champaign to stop for pizza at U of I (Mrs. D's alma matter). According to Map Quest it sits at the north end of Lake Clinton. Know anything about it? - Deerfield

I am headed that way in June to ski at the Liquid Edge with Doug. He was one of the coaches when we were down at Ski Paradise.

man, same story. used to average between 60-70 rounds a year and had a 16.2 handicap. since I bought the boat, I play maybe 4-6 rounds a year and rarely shoot over 84, so I'm sure that i'd be around a 12 handicap. played sunday for the first time since september and I felt it for 3 days tho
have to say that I do miss it and it's strictly a financial thing for me. $30 for a round at a nice local course here walking vs gas in the boat.... it's a no brainer for me now... sad thing are that we have pga quality courses here for $30, similar to bethpage and no waiting.. miss the walk. it was good exercise and fun to laugh at the lazy arses riding..'06 Supra Launch 20SSV-gone but never forgotten
