Product plug - Griprest

Just thought I'd post a plug for this waist worn ski handle rest product that I saw in the back of WaterSki mag and took a flyer on: http://www.griprest.com/
I have benefitted from it so greatly, I'm sending the following testimonal for their use:

A typical ski goes like this:
Wife/son hits it.
Once on plane, I Griprest until the boat's at speed, water's out of my eye's, etc.
Regrip and ski until I'm out of gas; usually the arms go first.
Griprest. My wife/son sees this and slows the boat to 25 MPH to save gas and lake.
Regrip and ski some more when the boat's back up to speed.
Repeat the above.

Anyone who wants more endurance, I'd strongly recommend this.

kinda seems silly to me....if your arms are tired let go......have a break.

No. They are equiped a shear pin that releases upon exceeding a predetermined load (there are different pins based on body weight). I did inadvertently test that when I hooked it on the swim platform when beaching myself after a ski. Pin broke. They provide spares with it.

When I skied this week the water temp was 57F, and that's near the surface! Having a break requires water entry/exit, which is not a pleasant experience. I went for two skiis, each prolonged via this product.

Ok that does make sense. Headed out today but I am going in my dry suit. Butnit won't help my feet.
