Which Connelly is that?

How are you liking the ski wake on your LSV? How fast are you running?

20 - 25 off @32 mph. A touch on wakeplate to soften it up. Great intermediate ski wake.
The newer lsv's (>06') have mediocre slalom reviews on water ski mag.com. It could be the new shape, hull depth or wakeboard/surfboard boats design for more wake, less ballast but trend is moving away from slalom.

I find that totally amusing. There is only one slalom boat on my lake. And only a handful of skiers that I know of or have seen. My oldest son totally abandoned slalom for the versatility of boarding, skating, surfing. Whereas, 4 years ago, he announced he wanted to get really good at slalom. My younger son had zero interest in skiing; never even tried it. I sold the junior combo set this year, with nary a scratch on it. On the other hand, at least two more V drives show up each summer. That would be very interesting to be in a ski environment. I'm sort of on my own little island so to speak, having a slalom passion.

It's going to go in cycles like everything else. I expect it to make a real strong comeback before too long.
