I have been running in brackish water so I installed a flush kit. It was very easy. I thought I would share a couple pictures with the board.
Cost: $65

Where did you buy it at? Have you tested it out yet? If so how well does it work?

I've only used it once and it worked well. I'll be using it again on Saturday.
I bought from Amazon:

Flush Kit
Does this cause the impeller to burn out? This looks like it by passes the impeller. I can't tell from the picture, maybe you installed it just after the strainer up from the raw water intake and it still has to go through the impeller? Any help would be appreciated.

I've thought about doing this. Thought it would also be nice to actually run a hose from the flush kit to the back of the boat so that you would hook the hose up to the back of the boat to flush it. I would love this so that I don't have to crawl under my boat everytime I need to flush it.

Update: I have used this 3 times now and it works great. Turn the water on, check for hose kinks, then fire the boat up. It's simple and and works well.
