Nothing can come close to the iPhone UI, I've played without countless Android phones, and they are incredibly cumbersome, and everyone I know with an Android phone will admit that the UI is not comparable, but how can it be, Apple is a billion dollar company with unlimited resources, and isn't Android OpenSource, lol.

Disclaimer: all android devices are not created equal. My android experience comes from using a droid x. I have found some of the other phones to be pretty bad.
fwiw, I believe android is google based and yes it is an open source. my distaste for apple is centered around the way they these products and technology. UI is obviously solid and proven. I by no means want to start an anti-apple debate here though.

You just swype back and forth across the keyboard, stopping on the letters of the word, but not lifting your finger in between and it spells out the word for you correctly MOST of the time. My buddy thought that was the coolest thing ever on his Android and scoffed at how my "gayPhone4" didn't have it.
I'd like to see voice recognition for texting, emails, etc. become an option.
Thing about the iPhone or I guess most phones like this now is...
1) phone
2) iPod
3) GPS
4) all the other crap I never knew I couldn't live without. All in one compact little piece of shiny metal and plastic and always with me.
Doesn't get much better than that.2001 MobiusV

I will admit that I am a Microsoft fan myself, however I have owned a few Apple products.
1. iPhone 3GS (current but about to upgrade to iPhone 4).
2. iPad (sold)
While I like the design and features of Mac Computers, I feel you can get way more in a built PC. I built my own PC and it will run circles around a MAC for 1/2 the cost (not to start a war). Don't get me wrong, I love the design/creative features/software pre-loaded on Mac's but PC is the way to go - especially if gaming (which I rarely ever do).
Now debating to wait on iPhone 5 or go ahead and upgrade to iPhone 4. Hmmmm

but that said, we rely on them for nothing.
