Evolution Covers Group Buy #2

Well guys, I'm trying to get a group buy together to get a discount on Evolution covers. http://www.evolutioncovers.com/

If I remember from the last one, it was 10% off, and they usually run about $800. Call them to check on your price if you're too unsure. The website says we need at least 4 confirmed orders for a group buy discount. Please post up if you're interested and I'll give Cory a call.

So far I have 1, me. Anybody else?

I'll fish for others until a week from Monday, the 25th, unless we get 4 orders before then.

I'd be curious to see what they can do or have done for the older hulls (00-01) like yours and mine. I've shopped around locally and prices were ridiculous compared to that.

Here's the skinny... Hate to sound like a stickler, but the last group buy didn't go so well, and he almost didn't do this for us...

1- Covers will all be the same color. I'm choosing black unless the majority of you want otherwise. Large amounts of matl' is where the discount comes from. (Sunbrella did a test and the inside of a boat with a black cover was only 5 degrees warmer than inside a white cover.)

2- Covers will be Sunbrella mat'l (very durable and breathable) with 5 year craftsmanship/10 year mat'l warantee. Good stuff! Very breathable mat'l, unlike most other covers on the market.

3- All stitching, zippers, etc. is black.

4- He must already have a pattern for your boat. Not likely to be a problem.

5- Orders are not confirmed until he has a check in hand.

6- Only payment method is by check.

7- I, Ryan, rc5695, am not really profitting or benefiting in any way from this. You're not paying for my cover and I'm not getting any bigger a discount than you are, and I'm doing the work to organize this to help all of us out.

8- Discount is 10%.

9- Lead time is 5-6 weeks. This is his busy season.

10- Prices are cover specific, and location specific for shipping charges. GENERALLY prices before shipping are $815 for 4-leg towers and $835 for XLV's and 6-leg towers. Again, these are general prices before the discount...See below for specifics.

I'm setting the date that payment must be made to him by August 9th. If we can get money to him sooner, then the sooner he starts our covers.
