my theory is to mow the weeds when they get long and spend the time I dont spend on the mower on the lake.

When I lived on the Olympic Peninsula I had to put lime down as the acidity from the fir trees would kill off the grass. It came in powder form and I would shake it from a coffee can and hope I didn't get coated too bad.

I would not worry so much about the grass at the lake place-mowing takes away from lake time, and we all know theres never enough lake time.

I'll have to send it off to UGA and see if the lyme will help. Not having much to mow at either place is a good thing, but it's frustrating that at both places, the folks with the best looking lawns seem to be those that care for them the least.

That theory doesn't work for me. I don't do anything and it shows.
