Built by the Pittsburgh Bridge Company, located in a small suburb south of Pittsburgh.
Eventually the PBC became The American Bridge Company and the small town where it was located was then renamed "Bridgeville, PA".
A second office of the ABC was located in a town which is now called "Ambridge, Pa"

it seems like single axle trailers sit up higher than the tandem axles trailers

they do, my double has 14" wheels and I think the singles are 16".
