Has anyone installed a dimmer for the instrument lights? My instrument have too much glare for night riding. I could change to red lamps but they'd probably be too bright too - windshield reflections. Anyway, any useful dimmer info will be appreciated.

any decent 12v potentiometer will do the trick. Id look for that type of item, its a plug and play just goes right in the middle of the cluster wire and lowers the voltage for you. Same way a car dimmer works.

I find that my perfect pass screen is way brighter than my dash lights. Mandley is right. It would be an easy fix as all the gauge lights are feed from one source.
