When it comes to toys, I have a bad (good?) habit of impulse buying everything I want. I hear frequent complaints that its impossible to buy me anything because of my erratic and excessive buying practices, lol.

I saw a GoPro Hero on Woot a week or so ago. Was very tempting but I resisted unlike Mr. Ashton. I already had the Krypt EQ and a new transom remote on the way so I figured that was enough for this month!

At surf distance the video looks good, boarding is definitely further out and hard to see detail. I'm guessing these are fixed zoom/focus?

Yes they are fixed lenses. I saw a cool video of a guy who strapped a hero to the rope and got some good footage

Well, well, well . . . .

My birthday is at the end of the month, and because of a little help from Moombadaze, look what my wife had me unwrap early.



I am still looking for the "accessories" and got a swift pop upside my noggin' after I showed my wife the video. Anyway, thanks to my wonderful wife & Moombadaze.
