Whats that Cognito kit run? Never new you could keep the torsions tucked. I've been out of the game a while.

Also, the lift pump will provide a positive pressure the Cp3 pump. This helps relive stress on the Cp3 pump as it is not working as hard to pull fuel to it. You now have a lift pump pushing the fuel to the cp3.

Nice work - can't wait to see the end result! You WILL be able to back it out of the garage still after the lift is on right? LOL

I did an 8" lift one time with 38's for tires and had to do it in the driveway for that very reason...

Thanks Viking. That makes sense. I really need to move it up the list of things to buy.

@Mandley and KG....Thanks for all the info. It gives me a starting point on what to look at as well as the mods. As far as the short bed vs regular bed when pulling a fifth wheel, how much of a difference is it going to make when turning? I would rather go with a short bed if I can get away with it. I live next to Elkhart, IN which is the RV capital and have spoke with SEVERAL differnent RV dealers and every single one has given me a different sales pitch on what type of truck I can use to pull "their" fifth wheel. Kinda made me laugh though. Anymore insight would be great. Thanks.

    Here she is!

    List of Updates:
Cognito 4" Non Torsion Bar drop
    Heavy Duty Tie Rods
Heavy Duty Sway Bar end links
    Pitman Arm Brace
    Idler Arm Brace
    2.5" rear blocks
Bilstein 5100's all the way around
20x9 BMF Sotas in Stealth Black

Have a few other small things I'd like to do before I call this part completely done, but nothing major. Gonna go ahead and add the airbags back onto the rear to eliminate sag while pulling, check into a new steering stabilizer since everything else has been replaced, and pick up a .5" spacer for the rear wheels. The front lift incorporated one so the front end is about .5" wider on each side than the rear. I want to get the rear tires our from under the fender a little more and make it match up. I'm also gonna grab a can or 2 of Rubberized undercoating and hit the frame with it so it's black again.

    Enjoy!
