What type of maintenance do I need to do on the wake plate? Any fluids to change? I ask because I notice that the guage is acting flakey a bit, and I have not touched that thing in 1.5 seasons.
Thanks in advance!

Top off the pump reservior with ATF fluid is about all I can think of. Make sure the fittings are snug and not leaking I suppose.

I think you have it. Follow the lines and they should run straight to the wakeplate.

If the fluid is low check for leaks at the actuators that move the plate up and down.

My plate seems to operate when it wants. I topped the fluids and the thing still only works some of the time. More strange (to me anyway) is that sometimes it will work but moves really slowly -- like 20 minutes to get it to go one direction. Any ideas out there?

Check for loose connections & air in the system. I think I saw in another post you have an 06 LSV which has a hydraulic system.
