OJ TZX5 5 blade?

I have one. I had the OJ "wakeboard prop" 14x14 or whatever before. I put the prop on the same time I upgraded to the 1100 bags and the power out of the hole seems the same, so it def. has the balls. Overall the wake seems cleaner and no more rooster tail.

I had major cavitation issues the first time I loaded up heavy. Like "did I hit something?" bad. I'm still not sure why, and it hasn't come back. I bought an ACME 1235 to try since I thought I was having some sort of major issue, but I haven't even put the 1235 on yet since the 5-blade seems fine now.

I kinda want to pick up a big ole high speed 3 blade for cruising on Lake Washington. 25mph gets frickin old after a while.

No rooster tail at all? The rooster tail seems to cause my wake to be dirty from time to time. Would love to see it go away.

At boarding speed (20-23), there is no rooster tail hitting you in the face. It's a noticeable diff. At higher speeds >25mph there's kind of a water fountain effect but it never gets to full rooster tail status.

which 5 blade are you runnin? and is your rpm any lower with the 5 than with a 4?

I'm running the OJ TZ-X5 ordered from wakeprops.com. RPMs are a little lower, 200-400rpms?

but like what diameter and pitch. and 400 rpms would be great. im wakeboarding at 3800 rpm right now. thats about 23 to 24 mph.

yeaa i run at about 2600 RPM..with my stock OJ 13x13 prop..cant wait to see what my ACME 543 will do
