What were you guys using to shim the mount to the tower? I bolted mine on and when I put my boards on, had issues with the mount swiveling around.

Any little piece of rubber, cut in small strips, lay it inside the bracket, then crank down on it till she's good and tight!

thanks...going to make a run to home depot today. Parrot I like what you did with the AC tubing for the surfboard rack. Noticed when I put a wakeboard in there, issues with it sliding around and slapping on the bottom board.

Wolfman or someone in this thread mentioned it, pool noodles...
Not sure what type of wake boards or surf boards monster design engineers use but the wake board rack is too small and the surf rack is too big.
For $125? I can deal with it...

where the heck did you find a black or gray pool noodle!?? Only pool noodles I see are neon colors, blue, green, pink etc. I'm thinking some AC insulation like this would work on those forks.

And yeah at $125 a pop I can deal with it too. I wish I could mount the racks higher like moombadaze, but the combination of my Z5 rack and Rev 10s wont allow it.2009 LSV Liquid Force Edition

Yep - that would work too. Look for the pipe insulation in about a 1/2" or so. I'd look for the uncut or unspliced so it will just slip over and you won't have to deal with any sticky mating edges.
I found different thicknesses of pool noodles too. Wally World, Target, etc. Mine HAD to be yellow though

Are the stock forks a Monster product, or did those come from another company? The forks on these Monster racks look very similar, not to mention they are sized for the elongated oval bar that are on the stock towers (the somewhat newer stock towers that is).
