    good decision. you might take a loss on this one, but sounds like you are into a lot of toys, so hopefully that next dirt bike you buy nets you a profit after some use

    i mean i paid about 15-16 for it..pluss my trade in ( 2009 sea-doo 215 wake pro..bought brand new)..so i will take a hit but this guy does want to get himself and his family into wakeboarding and skiing, so for 14G and any work he puts into it he will be on top, i dont mind helping someone out..i just thought it was crazy when he said 3G for new interior

    IMO, and from experience $3000 for a complete interior redo on a boat sounds dead on. In fact I know people that have between quoted higher.

    I sure as heck wouldn't do it for any less than that. It's a lot of work, a lot of sewing and a lot of material.

    what about a boat cover..he said 2 grand for a cove...i think oem overs are around 900?

    if he thinks a garage is a cover, then he is right otherwise they are under $700 for an OEM, but vary by year/make/model. I believe the best Evolution cover is under $1,500.

    I've bought several fixer upper/project boat's in the past like this, you have to remember the buyer is assuming a lot of risks & unknowns. After my 3rd project boat I finally figured out a good system, total everything up at dealer prices and shop rates, then double it.

    What the guy has said is dead on, sure you could find the cover cheaper, but then he takes the boat home and finds a 2 foot long hole in the bottom(yep, it was dark) that extra buffer make or break you..

    i get the other two..but i have yet to see a cover for 2 grand haha..i could be wrong tho
