Our lake gets deep by the dam but on the north end where our lake house is it average between 10-15 ft. At full pool our pier is in 3 ft of water so when the drought was in full swing last year and we were 4 feet low it was pretty useless. I've never been down to the dam so I have no idea how deep it is down there. The river channel runs 20-50 feet.
Fun facts about our lake!
39 miles long
7 miles wide at the widest point
23 ft deep avg
90 ft at dam
450 miles of shoreline
93,000 acres surface area
1,741,312 acre feet of water

here in central Florida, I typically surf in 6 feet of water and rejoice when I hit the occasional deep spot (12 feet)
