Dang I do not know If i like this math.
I want to say I had an avg pump price of $4.09/gal X 5.2 gal/h X ~75 = $ $1595.10
Now with truck gas and camping lets just put that at another 1k so $2600 for that and no boat payment to add in but storage so lets just jump to 3K
Now the amount of fun I had this summer on the boat with friends is about 15K so I am net gain of 12K. Shoot that is a nice little savings to put to a new boat or a lake house.

You struck a cord there. Don't even want to admit how many times I can be found sitting in the boat, beer in hand, 45 degrees and raining out (under carport thingy), daydreaming of the upcoming season while drowning away the worries of the day...

You USA guys don't know how lucky you are!!!
We pay an average of $10 per gallon for gas........makes me want to cry!
We have had the worst summer in 100 years here in the UK, so no sunshine at all since summer 2011.
Towed my Mobius 1600 miles to the south of France for 2 weeks of boarding just to get some sun!
Done 150 hours this year, just put her away to storage....
Thats about 25 days on the boat, at about 1875 litres for the season = $4200.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish i lived in the USA, better weather and cheaper gas = happy boat owner!!!
Count your lucky stars!

We do have it good... but one thing we don't have is cool town names like Tewkesbury! Nor do we have a Jeremy Clarkson!
