I was watching that Malibu,

IDK it looked to be going pretty dam straight. I know my boat wont go straight on its own when you let go of the wheel surfing. It goes right into a tight turn towards the wave.

both my boats have tracked fairly straight when not piloted. I've been able to go grab a beer while driving/surfing an empty evening lake pretty easy and not lose the line..

Yea my boat wont, if i let go to grab a brew the boat turns, i have gotten good at using my Knee to steer when i need to do something that requires both hands.
