we got out also, great day for me as my daughter gave it a try after 6 months of no surfing-she has, as she calls it dislocated her knee 3 times since june. she put on a knee brace, my shorty wetsuit that was way to big for her but it did provide protection from the wind that was whipping up whitecaps and got up her first pull. I also got in for the 2nd time since July and surfed. Boy it was no fun making the turn and going int the wind, felt like i was in a shower from all the spray coming off the boat. Then it became a sad day, removed all the ballast bags to let them dry out as it will now be next year before we get a chance to go again.

As I grow older, I find that I better appreciate Thanksgiving and the time it provides me to reflect on the year, count my blessings and give thanks.

My family has been blessed with this small piece of paradise. We are thankful to have been able to share this place with so many friends and family.
