HA! You're not kidding, berg. They did this at the end of the day at World's and the riders kept yelling at the driver to get closer to shore. The guy yelled back, "Sure, go get your boat and I'll do it!"

Gotta be the right situation, of course. In AZ, the river bank dropped to about 10 ft + deep about 5 ft out; very steep slope but you still wouldn't catch me doing that.
