Stupid Jet Skis

Saw this in a Transworld Wakeboarding email today. As if the digger wasn't bad enough, then you have the idiot riding the ski... Well, you get the idea.

That's just poor decision making. They were filming from the jet ski .... luckily they were doing it from the jetski and not a boat.

I'm pretty sure it's EVERYONE involved's fault. They obviously new the boarder. They all probably thought it would be a "great" idea to get some "dope" footage. It's not the Jet Ski's fault it's being driven by idiots.

Jet Ski's get a bad rep because of the morons that ride them...kinda like guns. They get a bad rep because some idiots want to use them to do harm. The gun didn't shoot the person, the person holding it did. So the same in this case the Jet Ski didn't hit the person the dumb a$$ driving it did.

If it was a boat instead of the jet ski the outcome would've been much worse. Regardless of the vehicle it's a dumba$$ move.

Drives me nuts when people say all this stuff about how bad Jet Skis are...it's the rider. There are a lot of idiots driving boats too...boats just can't do/go what/where Jetskis can and jet skis are much cheaper so they are available to more idiots.

Agreed. Was thinking-- jet ski = jet skier = rider/driver.

wow..that could have easily be avoided had the drive of the ski just crank left immediately. Wide open out there. Shows inexperience at the helm. Should have started out wide from the beginning anyway!!

glad it wasn't a helicopter following the wakeboarder. that would have been messy.

It's hard to hold the camera and drive the jet ski at the same time. I know when I've tried it I've almost spilled my beer a coupla times.
