First pull down to the upholstery shop for final design and layout - man what a difference compared to my little half ton.
Let the rebuild begin...
Tear down only took a few hours but a solid 5 beers. Don't think i have a knuckle with skin left intact either. Found few more cut wires and a few more broken pieces from the bastards trying to reef on stuff and tear it out...

Some parts were super easy - and then a few other pieces made up for those. Had to remove some ballast lines and vented loops in the rear gunnel and the gas filler cover panels to get to some of the bolts. Notice the pylon is out? Had to pull that too in order to get the backrest off. Mine is indeed solid so going to swing by a machine shop and have them shorten it down.Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway.

Yeah - good call. Need to do a little fiberglass repair in the bow as well. Not sure if it is just from normal use/abuse, age, or perhaps too much ballast sitting on the seat but the support rail under the playpen on one side cracked and has some give to it.
I'm sure 6-800lbs sitting up there on top of the seats isn't healthy. Thinking I'll go with a triangle bow bag up there and see how that goes.Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway.
