Winding the day down with a little tie up action before we started feeding on the BBQ and the gators started feeding on us

Haha come on down! This was actually a small showing for the club, I think we have over 300 members on our fb page, and our own website and forum. We hold this event every year as well as a spring round up in April and make various appearances at south east TX competitions throughout the summer.

We had a lot of fun Saturday night with our Ps vs Vs flip cup tournament. Final round was played with fireball and it was pretty awesome. I also won a helmet in the raffle! But I didn't get any pictures of all that

Well, my Sister's just closed on a sweet house in Bentwater in Lake Conroe. It's got a sweet pool and has a 2nd house/shop on the property where my parents are going to live when they retire next year. I dig the idea of living somewhere that I could boat 10 months a year! My sister joined the Houston ski club and just does a few destination ski trips each winter to keep that hobby.

Unfortunately, my sister's idea of the boat she wants to get is a "party barge". :-/ And while I have an open invite to come visit anytime, but trailering my boat 2200 miles each way is NOT going to happen!!

So, maybe if we plan a trip there this summer, I'll have to get in touch and enlist you to help me find some wake time when I come to visit!!! 55 and raining for the whole winter is making me grumpy allready.

But the idea of retiring down there myself is sounding better and better (moving from one no-income tax state to another).

For sure man. I can give you a pull or if I'm at work I'm sure I can hook you up with someone who can. Lake Conroe is pretty horrible for boarding unless you can make it out there on week days and there is no wind. Where we go is pretty much glass all the time!

Berg- it's a nice area but we don't have that amazing clear water and mountains like y'all! Our water visibility at its clearest is maybe 6-10 inches haha
