I love it when we have a dry winter because we always have water but with slower flows on the Columbia and Snake Rivers which means the water temps go up, up, up.

Yep, Shasta looks horrible and so does Oroville. Me and a buddy were just talking about whether to head towards the PNW or down to Mead. I can't believe that the desert lakes may end up with more water than us

(although you'll likely have YOUR boat on the water before mine. Especially since I have to find the time/motivation/weather to pull the gas tank and take a look at the rudder packing. As well as replace my bilge pump. Ugh.)

Yesterday was our first day on the water since Thanksgiving Day and back in the water since late October. Our neighbors said the water temp was right around 60. It was a bit nippy.

60? That's bath water. (Yea, right.) I'm shivering just reading that.

Since we still have snow on the ground and the lakes are still completely iced over, I'm thinking I might not be in until May this year
