Thanks for providing the opp. My coaching plans for summer are already full and still not in shape yet.

Sounds like fun. Too bad you are 1000+miles away. We had Lucky Lowe up for a couple of clinics and coaching. Great times. Just thawed here in Northern Illinois. Putting in my new lift this weekend for my new acquisition last fall.

Awesome! Thanks for posting this. Great to see Trent sharing his vast knowledge. I like what you're doing as well. I'm trying to get more skiers united on our lakes here in NC.

I think the three biggest segments that need attention and focus ( from intereviews ) are: 1) driving clinics and some women only driving clinics 2) public access to a ski course on open water and fed/state operated lakes 3) driving youth at the ages of 4 and up into skiing and tow sports.

In my opinion, these are key to the growth of our sport.

There can be many arguments as to why and I agree with some of what you're saying. The sport also competes with other things behind the boats now as well as the boats themselves.
There is driving clinics out there and to be honest they really aren't necessary in my mind! What's necessary is for all the alpha males to teach their wives, girlfriends how to drive. Patience and constant coaching works. Trust me I know as my wife drives for me and she never drove a boat at all until she was in her mid 30's. Yes she p*ssed me off but she didn't know and had to learn.
Yes our kids need to learn to have fun on the water agreed. They will all choose what game they want to play behind the boat.
Courses in open water - that debate will rage on forever I think?
