I'm thinking that bionic knee maybe giving you an unfair edge...

parrothd, from watching you i'm trying to climb up to high on the wave before spinning... i'm going to try spinning at the bottom and see what happens. I can get around but over rotate or dig an edge in...

You need to go up the face of the wave and turn and go back down, if you do it on the flats you'll just pearl..

For your viewing pleasure - some footage from the weekend. Unfortunately no beers were harmed during the filming or production of this sequence.

That was like a car accident. Just awful to watch, but I couldn't force myself to look away.

Not sure if you are going into the wind when you are losing the pocket there or what. But . . . if you can teach your driver to turn left a little to give you some help you can usually get it back. Good luck. Some decent attempts but you have a little ways to go, I think. Maybe you need a blue boat.

At that point in the trip I was just thankful my driver would drive... Even if it was zigzagging across the river, then upstream, then down and back again. Makes it tricky to keep a consistent wave along with my human ballast playing musical chairs that morning. I was just happy to get in a run before we packed it up for the 3 hour ride home!
