FAE Install

I was the winner of the FAE system from the Moomba Jamboree. I have tried to document the install. Total time was probably around 4-5 hours. I did it over a few days.
The instructions are adequate for the install and only a few tools are needed. Larry at FAE, will respond to phone and emails quickly if you need help.

1. You will need to do a few measurements for the system in order for it to fit your boat.

2. System as it arrived in 2 boxes.

3. Flanges put into the exhaust ports.

1. Install the FAE to check clearances.

2. Check Clearance with Wake plate up

3. Square tube, measure to fit

Drill and tap treads for your bolts

Install square tube bracket

Installed and attached.


Of course, each boat will be different, but this is a general overview. There are a few ways to mount the square tube bracket to your swim platform, this is the way I chose.
