finally got the boards into a rack on the wall
used 1/2 pvc and seems to work just fine.
used a 13/16 wood drill bit and the pvc fits tight, really did not need to glue it in.
holding...
4 surf boards
2 knee boards
3 wake boards--2 do not have the bindings on them-double stacked in one of the slots
Just wish i had done this a couple years ago

looks nice... ed came up with a cheap and great idea for board racks i'm workin on mine too!
is the pvc slippery? i thought about putting slit foam tube insulation on the pvc to keep it from slidding if its an issue

Actually, I think that's an old school HO Hyperlite wakeboard. I've got one of those too. I never thought about using it as a kids surfboard though.
I also have an old school O'Brien skurfer, the pre-cursor to the compression molded, modern wakeboard. I was thinking of letting my son try to use it as a wakesurf board this summer. Will definitely take some pics.Al
