Default Good Price?

I am in the process of purchasing a 2006 Outback w/tower, cover, six speaker stereo, board racks and other odds and ends. Is 29K (+ tax & lic) too much to pay?

I paid $27,900 + $1,953 in tax less than a month ago.
But I only got the 310 carb (so I can work on it)
No racks (already owned a set of Monsters)
No depthfinder (added it myself, Hummingbird, works great)
No cleats (probably going to cut them in myself, so try to get them if you can)
No perfect pass (will add it later most likely)
Bought a bimini though($500 installed)

Have the dealer throw in transom tie downs and a safety chain.
I can't believe I took delivery without them. Went straight to local Sports Authority and picked up the tie downs.

But despite all that, no buyers remorse whatsoever.
As for the 2 best days joke, well, I've had 5 already and and we still have 6 weeks of school left.

The one I am looking at has the bimini, full cover, 5.7l carb, depth finder and more odds and ends that I can't remember.

Make sure you get perfect pass. You'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

In 2003 our family purchased a 2003 Outback LS. Had tower, racks, stereo (no tower speakers), perfect pass, Ballast front and rear, bimini, pop up cleats, EFI. And i think thats bout it. Was 29,550 + taxes (not to sure what they were). Sounds like a good deal for you.

As far as perfect pass goes. GET IT its def worth it.

I bought an 06 Outback for just under $30k with most of the goodies. Mine does not have perfect pass, but it has EZ cruise...I haven't had much time to try it out this year, but I have heard it is a good system.
I think you would be getting a fair deal at that price.

My '04 Outback with Tower and separate bow/cockpit snap covers was $26,000. I am known to haggle at the dollar store. Bought in Atlanta, GA, Live in Chapin, SC; therefore, no taxes at sale. When I registered the boat in SC I had to pay the $300.00 (capped in SC) sales tax. I got the carb, 6 speaker stereo etc. After the fact I have added the Tower Mount Bimini, Perfect Pass Digital Pro, Full Cover. These options total $2300. Id see if you could negotiate a little, since the worst they can say is no.

Good Luck and either way, its a stellar boat and far less expensive.
